Clara Bailey, a legendary figure of Black's Beach in Southern California, passed away January 27, 2009, at the age of 88. A person of remarkable courage fought over the legal status of the famous nude beach in the 1970s and was instrumental in keeping it safe for naturists.
We sympathize with her family and hundreds of friends all over the world.
